Celebrating A Funny New Vampire Romance From Sandra Sookoo

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a new vampire romance from Sandra Sookoo and Noble Romance.

Sandra Sookoo is a writer of romantic fiction. Her portfolio includes historical, contemporary, sci-fi and paranormal romances. She loves to blend genres and spice them up and often times will add humor as well.

After catching the writing bug at the young age of ten, she’s gone on to grow her unique writing style. She’s a regular contributor for the Paranormal Romantic's blog and has a great time keeping things interesting at the Believing is Seeing blog.

When not immersed in creating new worlds and interesting characters, Sandra likes to read, bake and travel. Her favorite place to spend vacation hours is Walt Disney World. It’s where dreams come true and the soul can play. That suits her just fine. Writing is her ultimate dream job.

NO BITTING ALLOWED by Sandra Sookoo

She has hope. He has vulnerability. Both need each other, but reality might keep them apart.

Grace spends her evenings alone, reviewing paranormal books on her blog, wondering what it takes to make a hero and if she'll ever find one. She doesn't believe vampires or paranormal beings are real, and, while she hands out harsh reviews because she can't suspend her disbelief, she meets the one man who will go to great lengths to change her mind.

Brody's a vampire. Turned into a monster by a bad transfusion years before, he's afraid of losing his grasp on humanity when the hunt for blood grows strong. Once he selects Grace to relieve his primal appetites, he's brought up short by his attraction. Her very disbelief makes him want to show her not only what he is but why he's worthy of her love. Now, if only a troublesome branch of the government would stop spying long enough for him to actually date her.

Trouble is, after being hurt from a nasty divorce, Grace is leery of giving anyone her trust, let alone her love, again. Die at his hand or live under his control? Only her heart can decide.

  14. Hi Greenduckie! I used to be able to write two books at a time, but not so much anymore. I really like to take the time and concentrate on one at a time now, go slow and capture each nuance of the story :-)

Hi Annalisa! I'm planning 4 books total in this series. I've already got book 2 semi-outlined so it'll be good to start writing in the fall :-)

  16. Hello Sandra!
No Biting Allowed sounds like an exciting paranormal romance. It reminds me of the Mulder/Scully relationship of the X-files. He has to convince the skeptical heroine to believe in vampires. I think it sounds suspenseful. Will he take her blood or her heart? Good luck with the new release!

I would love to win Dragons at Dawn. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  17. Hi Nay Nay! So glad you connected with me! Dragons at Dawn is NOT included in my backlist at this time since it just released. Sorry lol But I have another book CHANGING TIDES that has a dragon in it you could win if your name is chosen :-) Will I write another dragon shifter story? I would love to. They're so fun!

Hi Stacie! Thanks for commenting! I've never watched the X-files so that's funny you said that! I wrote my heroine by asking "what would I do in that situation?" I think she's like alot of us would be :-)

  28. Hi Sandra,

First of all I want to wish you Happy Release Day! I wish you much success with the book and I want to thank you and Author Island for having this wonderful contest.

    Here are my questions.

My question to you is are you a Plotter or a Panster?

Also what do you like the most about the whole writing process?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi Theresa! Am I a plotter or pantster? Definitely a plotter. I outline all my stories so I have some idea of where I'm going. Sometimes the ideas change so I fix the outline and continue. I'm less likely to get writer's block that way.

What do I like most about the writing process? Figuring out a problem by myself, then seeing the finished product get into a reader's hands. When someone writes to me and tells me they like my work, it's a huge lift :-)

  30. Your book sounds interesting. I am going to check out your website this afternoon after the evel day job. My question is
if you were stranded on a deserted isle and the necessities are taken care of what three other things could you not do without.

  31. Hi Pam. What 3 things would I take to an island? Favorite books, a lifetime supply of notebooks and pens, and maybe keep a luxury yacht docked nearby lol Thanks for coming and hope you find some books of mine you'll like!
