Celebrating A New Westervelt Wolves Story For Rebecca Royce

Today we're celebrating the release of Rebecca Royce's latest Westervelt Wolf story, ALPHA WOLF!

As a teenager, Rebecca Royce would hide in her room to read her favorite romance novels when she was supposed to be doing her homework. She hopes, these days, that her parents think it was well worth it.

Rebecca is the mother of three adorable boys and is fortunate to be married to her best friend. They live in northern New Jersey and try not to freeze too badly during the winter months.

She's in love with science fiction, fantasy, and the pararnormal and tries to use all of these elements in her writing. She's been told she's a little bloodthirsty so she hopes that when you read her work you'll enjoy the action packed ride that always ends in romance. Rebecca loves to write series because she loves to see characters develop over time and it always makes her happy to see her favorite characters make guest appearances in other books.

In Rebecca Royce's world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.

In search of his sister in New Orleans, Michael finds his mate instead. But Scarlett is broken, nearly destroyed. With doom around the corner, Michael Kane has no time to lose. If he can save his mate, perhaps there will be a chance for all of them. Or maybe it's already too late.

Left with no other choice, Michael will have to teach the wolves in the New Orleans pack how real Alpha shifters behave, while showing his mate he is a man of his word.

  1. Happy Release Day Rebecca!!! And man, just when I think your covers can't get any better - POW!!! They hook you up with one I love better than the last!

The story sounds great and I'm heading to read the first chapter excerpt right now - I love how Liquid Silver gives us readers such a great taste of their books!

    Love the trailer too!

For those not familar with your Westervelt Wolves Series - can you tell us how this book fits in and if there's a certain order they should be read in?

Best of luck with the new release Rebecca - hope it's another bestseller for you!

  2. I read the excerpt. Wow! It's great. I have to confess that werewolf books aren't normally my cup of tea--I read contemporary rather than paranormal--but I think I would really enjoy reading Alpha Wolf. It hooked me from the start. Congrats on your release.

  3. Hey everyone,
This is the fifth book in the Westervelt Wolves series. The order of the books is:

    Her Wolf
    Summer's Wolf
    Wolf Reborn
Wolf's Valentine (This is technically a story that is separate from the others, its kind of about a character not related to the Kanes but within the same world.)
    Wolf's Magic
    Alpha Wolf

And there should be 3 more, the next one is the one I am writing now.

Cara--I understand completely about having genre preferences. Thanks so much for you kind words about the excerpt.

  6. Congratulations on the new release. I loved the nice, long excerpt at Liquid Silver.

It mentions that they stop aging until they meet their mate. Does that mean they start aging the equivalent of human after that? Just curious. (If I knew that determined my life span, I don't think I'd want to meet my mate any time soon, but I guess after 210 years, I'd change my mind.)

  7. Yes, they start aging as soon as they mate. But, because of something that happens with the mating process, which I'm not going to give away here, they are so thrilled to be mated they don't mind the aging. LOL. Also, in Michael's case..and in Cullen's from Summer's Wolf..the alternative, the idea of staying alone for endless hundreds of years while your contemporaries mate and have babies and pass on and then watching their children do the same...they totally want to find their mate.

Wow, I just wrote you a book Anne. Sorry. Apparently, I had a lot to say. LOL

  21. Annalisa, I'm not joking. Whatever one is the newest for me to receive, is my favorite at that time. I can't pick. I love all of them.

Jolene, if its possible, I do recommend starting with Her Wolf but they don't have to be read in order.

  28. Hi! Congrats on the release and Launch Party!

I have not read your work before, but this sounds great. I love reading all kinds, but paranormal is esp fun since it reminds me of the scifi I grew up with.
Is this New Orleans based before or after Katrina??
