Celebrating A New Release For Eve Knight

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating Eve Knight's new Pleasure Club release THE PARK RANGERS.

Books have always fascinated Eve. She's been reading them her entire life, so eventually, writing just seemed like the natural thing to do. Eve lives in South East Michigan with her family who are her strongest supporters. They along with writing friends both online and in person give her the strength and support she needs to keep traveling down this uncertain path that is publication.

Eve Knight also writes heartwarming and passionate romance as Abbey MacInnis, and she's also one half of the fantasy writing team of Daisy Kelli. Her romances written as Eve Knight aren't for everyone. They're edgier, darker, and too hot for some, but if you can stand the heat, then come along for the ride.

THE PLEASURE CLUB: THE PARK RANGERS by Eve Knight

Could letting go of her inhibitions change her future?

Julie works to pleasure others. As a sex phone hotline operator, it’s her job, not her joy.

She’s tired of living without pleasure or happiness in her life. Acting on impulse, she decides to venture beyond the familiar and partake in her deepest darkest fantasy, one which requires the skill and patience of two rugged and rogue rangers.

Can Julie stop hiding and learn to accept this wilder, more wanton facet of herself? Can letting go set her free from the regrets of past mistakes and guide her to a more prosperous future?

  2. This book is right up my alley; I've added it to my must have list.

Eve, I love The Park Rangers' cover. Do you work with one particular cover artist?

    Thanks,

  3. Congratulations on your new release. Since you write erotic and more contemporary romance, is it difficult to switch between them?

  4. Sounds intriguing! Do you find the genre limiting?

  5. Happy Release Day, Eve. I tried the link to your website, but it wasn't your homepage. I'm a fan of dark, edgy books.

  6. Wow, thanks everyone for all the questions and koodos. :)
AuthorIsland: The Pleasure Club isn't my series. Anna Lee Keaton is the author behind it's creation. :) There are several books in the series, all dealing with men and women who have their most secret fantasies played out.
Go to Cobblestone's website and you'll find more about the other books, including my previous release in the series The Angel there.

As for me, there's not too much to tell. I love reading and writing everything from sweeter and more sensual to obviously erotic. I have a very supportive family and a wonderful four-legged companion who's the best writing partner anyone could have. :)
Tracey: Thanks! I'm glad you love my cover, and thanks for adding The Park Rangers to your TBR. Actually, my publisher, Cobblestone Press assigned a cover artist to design the cover. I provided suggestions, but it's up to the publisher to decide what to do with them. :)
Linda: Switching between my erotic stories and my contemporaries isn't that difficult for me at all. The erotic stories focus much more on the physical and sexual journey of the characters than anything. Whereas my contemporary work doesn't.
Jane: Thank you. :) Yes, I'm having some technical issues with my site right now, but I'm hoping to be back in business tonight. :)

  7. Have read other Pleasure Club stories and they are short, hot reads. Looking forward to adding this one to the TBR list.

  8. I'd like to know what inspired the concept of this story because it just sounds like it's going to be a fascinating read.

  9. Lindseye: Thank you so much for considering my story. :) i hope you enjoy it. :)
Leni: Many of the stories in the Pleasure Club series take place in Florida. I thought it would be a little different to set one in the Everglades. It was so much fun researching this story. LOL No, not that kind of research. :) I found so many cool fun resources that I used to help me set the scene. :) The Everglades are beautiful. I've never been there, but after writing this story, I wouldn't mind taking a trip South. :)

  11. Hi Estella,
I intend on writing more books for this series, but right now, I have a few other projects going. :)
Thanks for leaving a comment, and good luck! :)

  12. Hi Eve! Congrats on the new release! :) The protagonist seems to abandon all structured ways of life and start living impulsively. Do you think going on impulse is better than thinking things through and through? Has there ever been an instant in your life where you are glad you were impulsive? if so, what happened? Was it romance based? :)

  14. What made you want to write romance on the dark side? I am not a fan but I am a fan of Author Island so stopping by to see what you write. I will have to check out your books under your other name.
    Why use two names?

  15. Congrats on your new release! I'm intrigued that you made your heroine a phone sex operator and am wondering what other intriguing jobs your future heroines may have? Do you have some interesting careers in your past that may show up in your writings?

  16. Hi Dee: You're right in saying that Julie is living impulsively, but she's acting out a fantasy in a safe and controlled environment. :) She'd have never done this in her everyday life. As for me, I'm the complete opposite. :) Well, except where books and coffee are concerned. LOL
    Thanks, Sherry. :)
squiresj: I use two names because not everyone loves reading hot, and sometimes dark erotic stories. My tastes as a reader vary widely. That's why I can't see myself writing in just one genre or under one name. I'd be bored. :) I don't like surprises as a reader. When I buy a book, I like to know exactly what I'm spending my hard-earned bucks on. I'd be very disappointed if I learned I'd bought something that wasn't what I thought it was supposed to be. And I didn't want any reader of mine, whether reading an Eve or an Abbey story to feel that way. :)
Joder: The whole sex phone operator just happened. LOL I didn't plan that one. I just sat down and started writing. Julie's character just came to me. :) I have no clue what will show up in future stories, occupationwise. :) LOL I'm kind of excited myself. I don't have any crazy or shal we say exotic jobs in my past. It's fun living them through my characters. :)
These are some wonderful questions, everyone. I'm really having a great time! Keep 'em coming! :)

  17. Congrats on the new release. The book sounds like so much fun. When you write someone having a job like a phone sex operator..how do you find out about the job? Did you ask any phone sex operators what their day is like?

One of my old (ex) sister in laws used to be a phone sex operator and it was quite funny to watch. lol
