Celebrating A New Release And A New Series For Robin Leigh Miller

Today we are celebrating Robin Leigh Miller's new release ETERNAL FLAME which kicks off a new series for her.

Robin resides in central Pennsylvania with her husband, three children, German Shepard Tae' and mutt hound Bailey. She now lives a quiet, subdued life in comparison to her younger years of dirt track racing in stock cars. An adrenaline junky, these days she enjoys putting her characters through their paces.

Action, adventure and a touch of paranormal can be found in her books. "Enter a world where anything can happen...and usually does" is her motto and reflects her writing style. Sometime the mundane can become insane. Take a walk on the wild side and join her heroins as they muttle through the twists and turns life throws at them. And of course, there's always the hunky guy to catch them when they fall.

  4. Okay, guys. Here's a snippet of the story.

Lanna cried out weakly as Lance stroked his hand down over her breasts. An avalanche of anger crashed down on Beach. The bastard dared touch his Lanna. Beach felt his muscles tense ready to rip the man apart.

"She's a freak of nature," Lance continued taking a stun gun from one of his many wanna-be's. "Dad thinks if he can figure out what makes her tick he can create the perfect military weapon and sell it to the highest bidder. Me, I think he's lost his mind, but I do enjoy hunting down his freaks."

Lance touched the stun gun to Lanna's ribs. Her tiny body jerked and shuttered as the electricity coursed through her system.

"You sick fuck, I will tear you apart," Beach snarled wrenching forward still watching Lanna's face carefully. Instantly, hands held him in place. Fear and worry stabbed through his defenses from the men restraining him.
They were scared. One didn't want any part of this. He could use that. "If you knew as much as you think you know about her you wouldn't be risking what you're doing," Beach warned. "Ignorance will get you killed."

Lance tossed his head back and laughed. The ones holding him weren't amused. They wouldn't be a hindrance when the shit hit the fan.
"Is that so?" Lance said and then touched her with the stun gun once more.

This time Lanna didn't react as violently as the first. Her body still jerked and shuttered but to Beach it looked more like an act than a real reaction. Lanna met his gaze with crystal clear, almost glowing, green eyes. Her anger hit him with a punch to the gut and brain.
Not sure why, Beach glanced at the tattooed Phoenix head on her hip. The bird's beak opened and closed and its one eye sparkled. Oh yeah, his little hellfire was about to cut loose and he couldn't wait.

"I'll risk anything I fucking want to risk," Lance shot back and touched her again with the stun gun.

This time a loud snap sounded and the gun exploded in Lance's hand. He shrieked, dropped the weapon and danced around holding his burned fingers. Lanna was pissed and obviously intended to play with dumbass Lance before shutting him down permanently.

"Fucking bitch did that, I know she did," Lance howled as the smell of burnt flesh filled the room. Crazed with anger, Lance grabbed the fireplace poker and swung.

Beach kicked out his legs and took the blow before it struck Lanna. "Daddy should have filled you in better on who you were after," Beach huffed through the pain in his leg. Holding Lanna's gaze, he smiled. "Burn it down."

    Hope you enjoy it!

  5. flchen1 - I haven't really plotted out the rest of the stories yet, I have some ideas but I'm in the middle of fiddling with them.

Kshunshine - I did have input on the cover. Reese Dante did the cover and she told me its the first fantasy cover she's ever done. Believe it or not, we sat on facebook one night chatting about it and then she sent me some samples and let me pick out my favorite. In my opinion, SHE IS THE BEST!

Thanks for stopping by ladies, and for the questions.

  8. I love paranormal books they are some of my favorite books to read. What all genres do you write? Will you have to read this series in order?

  9. Hi Sherry!

I mostly write paranormal, action, thriller all rolled into one. I'm working at writing this series so it doesn't have to be read in order. My first series Agents of Mercy turned out well that way.

    Thanks for stopping by.
